Size
and scope of this web site
Yes the site is
huge.... Almost 2000 pages now and still growing. Practically every phase
of dental treatment involving dental implants is covered as well as other
topics in dentistry. The purpose of the site is twofold... First it is designed
to help the consumer in making an intelligent decision about dental treatment
with implants. Secondly, it is designed to give the dentist starting out
in implant dentistry more information about this fascinating technology.
Navigation
elements
The site is designed to utilize Menus for navigation. Menus will be found on the left hand of the page and they are usually context sensitive to reflect the section that you are viewing. Occasionally, you will find links within the text of the page. You might also find menus within the page or at the top of the page to help you navigate certain sections.

How
you should view this site
It does seem a
little trite to say, "start at the beginning", but that is where
everything is happening. I have tried to list the links in the order that
you should follow them so that would be a good way to proceed. Patients and dentists should start with the General Info Menu and then work with either the Patient Menu or the Dentist Menu to get more specific information.
How
to relate materials on this site to your dental treatment
Every clinical
situation is different. You should not assume that any particular treatment
scenario shown here is exactley right for you. These are merely instances
of treatment that you can discuss with your dentist. Ultimately, you and
your dentist will decide what treatment parameters are in your best interest.
Answering
specific questions
I get lots of specific
questions from people about their dental treatment. I cannot an\swer them
without examening the patient and seeing all of the current dental records.
I can give guidelines about general treatment scenarios.
