The marketing aspects of these procedures are very significant. There is always a competition by dentists for the patients who can afford these high end procedures. If a dentist can entice more patients by advertising something that patients would see on the surface as very desirable, then it will be done.

Unfortunately, just because something is stated in print, it does not mean that it is true or that you will actually benefit from the procedure. You must get all of the facts and then decide for yourself whether or not it is correct
