Anterior Bone Grafting for the Placement of Dental Implants

This patient is a young woman who was referred to me by her general dentist for a reconstruction of her anterior maxillary teeth (The front teeth of her upper jaw). She had a very shaky 5 unit bridge on the front teeth and two of the three supporting teeth had fractured.

The central incisor was hopeless. The maxillary cuspid was in need of a post and core and some tooth-lengthening. The lateral incisor also needed tooth lengthening.

Her smile was very flat and almost had a reverse curve to it. The patient was a very attractive young woman and it was imperative that we restored her smile to a more attractive state.
