At the same visit that the fractured implant is removed, a new, wider implant is placed. The original implant was 3.75mm in diameter and was removed with a trephine that creats an implant site that is compatable with a 5.0mm diameter implant.

The wide diameter implant was placed and allowed to integrate and then a new set of crowns was constructed.
