The final tapping is done by hand. In this case, the bone was quite dense so I tapped a full 10mm into the bone. The implant that we are using is a 15mm 3.75 diameter implant. It is a titanium alloy with a treated surface. You can see the implant just entering the bone in the photo on the right.
