Major Reconstruction with Maxillary Sinus Lift

The x-ray above shows the second stage of treatment. The teeth have all been prepared and cleaned up and provisional restorations have been placed. Implants have been placed in the maxilla and bone has been placed in the right maxillary sinus to prepare for the placement of at least one additional implant. The two little round objects on the x-ray are tacks which hold a membrane in place to help in the healing of the sinus graft. A sinus lift was not necessary in the left maxillary sinus.
