Replacing A Fractured Implant Final Restoration PDF Print E-mail

Approximately 4 months after replacing the fractured implant, a restoration was fabricated and inserted onto the new wide diameter implant. Implants do not fracture very often, but I have had the opportunity to do this procedure three times over the last 10 years and it seems to work without any problem. The main concern is that no damage is done to the bone while removing the fractured implant and that the implant that is placed in this site is wide enough to engage the bone.
