The biggest problem in replacing lateral
incisors with dental implants is the lack of room available for implant
placement. It is up to the orthodontist to insure that there is enough room
for an implant and that the roots are properly positioned to allow full
implant placement. In most instances, it is necessary to use a small diameter
implant. In this phot, I am using an Intra-Lock 3.3mm diameter implant.
(BTW this is a different patient).
Here the implant is totally seated.
Note that there has been minimal displacement of soft tissues.
