The patient was retreated about 3 years ago. I extracted the remaining central incisor and replaced the two failed implants. The four implants are now splinted with a bar and this should prevent migration and damage of the labial plate.

Completed radiograph. One should note that I have completed and followed hundreds and hundreds of maxillary bar overdentures in the last 20 years and have never seen a lost implant once the restoration has gone into function. Splinted implants are stronger implants.
