Placement of Dental Implants in a Thin Ridge of Bone
 |
The implant system used here is Intra-Lock.
While the system has been in use for over 10 years in Brazil, it is new
to the United States and Europe. I am involved with the company as an
investor and on the Board of Directors. This is a 4.0mm diameter , straight
sided implant (Other sizes and shapes are available) with an external
hex prosthetic connection and no carrier. A Drive-Lock™ in the slow
handpiece is used to engage the implant internally and remove it from
the packaging. the drive-Lock™ is then used to place the implant
into the surgical site. | |
The Drive-Lock™ engages the
implant in the vial and you just withdraw it and place it into the surgical
site. Fast and easy... | |
