Placement of Dental Implants in a Thin Ridge of Bone

After the initial incision, we can see a nice wide ridge very suitable for implant placement. Notice that the socket is completely filled. Freeze dried bone was used at the time of extraction (six weeks prior to this photo). I have used this technique for several years now and find the results to be extremely consistent.
